Four landscape and beer areas
Bad Staffelstein lies in the Upper Main valley between the Staffelberg, Kloster Banz and Vierzehnheiligen. Breweries and inns are distributed across the town and several outlying districts. A municipal total therefore cannot be read as a walking route.
Four areas make the visit easier to understand: Bad Staffelstein town; Loffeld below the Staffelberg; Vierzehnheiligen with Brauerei Trunk; and further villages within the municipality. Each has its own paths and operating days. Choose through the sights, not through an attempt to collect as many stamps as possible in one day.

Both figures belong to the same municipal offer but describe different things: the diploma requirement and the number of entries printed in the passport. Neither is a current register of active breweries.
Anyone pursuing the diploma should download the current passport from the city and read its conditions. A normal day visitor needs neither nine nor eleven stops.
Staffelberg and Loffeld
The Staffelberg is the major landscape destination. Loffeld sits below it and is associated with Staffelberg-Bräu. The walk and inn can be combined when trail, weather and business align. The ascent and descent remain the substantial part of the day; a meal does not solve a late or poor-weather return.
Vierzehnheiligen and Brauerei Trunk
The pilgrimage basilica of Vierzehnheiligen and nearby Brauerei Trunk form a second clear pairing. Religious site, architecture and beer address occupy the same excursion area. Service times, access to the basilica and hospitality are nevertheless separate pieces of information.
Kloster Banz lies on the other side of the Main and is not automatically part of the same walk. A day combining Banz and Vierzehnheiligen is a landscape and culture trip with, at most, one confirmed meal added.
Further brewery villages
The city material names additional businesses and districts, including Reblitz. They can suit a planned inn visit, cycling route or second overnight stay. A long municipal list does not mean that every address is open at once, serves visitors or is linked without a car.

Regional trains reach Bad Staffelstein from Bamberg. Loffeld, Vierzehnheiligen and other districts require a separate final leg. If the group uses a car, designate an alcohol-free driver before the first beer.
